You only live once is probably untrue. You die once but live every day. You wake up to beautiful mornings, eat the best food, meet great souls, and enjoy every little beauty of life. But we miss on many things to do once in a lifetime.

Despite the blessings, we haven’t been able to explore our lives completely. We are caught up in our day-to-day jobs, busy with kids, office work, etc. We neglect things that give us happiness. These mundane activities take a toll on our health and trap us with anxiety and suffering. 

If life is full of struggles, there are silver linings that make it interesting too. Life offers us many privileges, but we never step forward to take one.

Here are a few things that you should do once in a lifetime to push your inner-self and live life to the fullest.

1. Plan a Road Trip

Gather your friends and colleagues, join a bikers group, and go on a spontaneous full-fledged road trip. It can be an adventure trip or a weekend getaway. Stop at a tea stall, dance in the open sky, crack silly jokes, and pull each other’s leg. Trust me; you will cherish every moment of the trip. But no reckless riding, please!

2. Go on a Solo Trip

Go on a solo trip. Traveling alone can help you explore a lot about yourself. You’re free, and you can do a lot of activities. There is no one to control you or stop you. There are many places in the world where you can go alone. So pack your bags and get going.

3. Climb a Mountain

Climbing a mountain is an adventurous activity. It takes significant efforts to climb the mountain, but the beautiful site scene that you’ll see is an experience. That’s the only place where peace and tranquillity are at the zenith, and that’s all we want.

4. Experience Nature

Mother nature is humans’ best friend. If traffic, pollution, noise, etc. have enveloped you completely, it’s time to bask in the glory of nature. Take a walk in the woods, enjoy the beach, the sand, sleep on the grass, gaze at the stars, and quilt yourself in nature.

5. Go Hitchhiking

If you can convince someone for a free ride, then go hitchhiking. You will meet strangers, make friends, and save on your travel budgets. The probability of meeting with an accident or any danger is just 0.0000089%. So, still a safe one.

6. Go on a Cruise

Go cruising, engross yourself in the shore excursion, go sailing to some of the most sought-after destinations in the world. Go for a world tour with your friends, families, or your loved ones. You never know if you’ll be able to discover something new and be the next Vasco Da Gama. I ain’t kidding.

7. Go River Rafting

 You should experience river rafting at least once in life. If you are not aquatic or fear water, you may freak out in the beginning. But once you sit in the raft, you will only remember the fun, adventure, and memories. I experienced this with my friends, and it was just amazing.

8. Go Scuba Diving

Did you wonder anytime what it’s like to breathe underwater? Once you Scuba dive, you will feel there is nothing as enjoyable as the sea’s stir while surrounded by eye-catching fishes. It increases emotional well being, helps relieve stress, and takes you to your childhood days.

9. Go Skydiving

Always heard that the sky’s the limit, but never seen. This one gives you the real feeling of talking to the air. The thrill and rush that you experienced will be unforgettable. It will help you conquer fear and build up self-confidence.

There is a saying that if you help a needy or a penniless, your heart melts. It flushes out everything bad that’s stuck in your heart. It’s our social and moral responsibility to take part in causes, and there is nothing more blissful to bring a smile on someone’s face.

Ever since childhood, we hear ghost stories but never experienced one, in reality. It’s time to start hunting them, and if you found one, do ask their mystery about white clothes and candles and why they scare people so much? You can surely park this for thing to do once in a lifetime.

Nothing makes you wiser than being on your own, completely. Move out while you are young, even if it’s for a while and live on your own. Staying alone makes you independent and teaches you to survive alone when no one is around.

We live in a world where we are constantly dependent on technology for everything. Try staying without phones, calls, social media, etc. for a day to find the other side of the world; a technology-free world. Spend time with your family, cook for them, watch movies together, and create memories.

Going on the stage and performing in front of a huge crowd is a dream come true. It makes you confident and excretes the fear out of you. You will be nervous initially, but you’ll enjoy every bit of it. Clapping sounds, smiling faces & stage lighting will make you remember it for life.
